I thought I would throw out a question to inaugurate the “protein evolution” blog page, hopefully ignite discussion as we begin to register.
What are the most important unanswered questions concerning the mechanisms of protein evolution?
I think one of the most important questions is how can we use our understanding of evolution to cure human disease.
